Courtney Jean BennettCourtney Jean Bennett graduated from the University of Georgia in December of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law in May of 2021. In addition, she earned her Advanced Legal Writing Certificate, and is a certified mediator. Courtney was a member of the Mercer Negotiations Team and received the Outstanding Solicitor Award at graduation. While at Mercer, Courtney was active in the Fellowship of Adolescent Mentors and served as president of that organization. She was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, Mercer Advocacy Council, and Mercer Association of Women Law Students. Courtney moved to Alpharetta in May of 2021 and is looking forward to getting involved in community service in the area. She is a huge Georgia bulldog fan and loves Saturdays in Athens! Spending time with extended family, working out, watching football, and hiking are a few of her favorite pastimes. She is excited about a new future at Lisa Shippel Law and contributing to the high level of service that all clients receive at this firm. |
